INNERFACE is proud to be the signage and wayfinding partner for the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC).  Located in Bethesda, MD, the new WRNMMC represents a merger of the National Naval Medical Center and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  The $826 million project included new construction, expansion, and renovation to the existing hospital facilities.  Included in the project are the 560,000-square-foot America Building (largest outpatient medical building in the military health system consisting of a six-story facility that provides for cancer patients, amputees, and other outpatient needs) and the 165,000-square foot the Arrowhead building (four-story addition to the existing hospital, which houses emergency in-patient services)

Working in conjunction with BRAC, NAVFAC and other involved parties, we are working to finalize all wayfinding and room identification requirements for the new and renovated facilities with implementation planned to begin in October and completion by the first of 2012.
